Is there any precedent to Scott's visor not containing his optic blast in times of extreme stress? I can't think of any off the top of my head. Between that and seemingly being totally fine after being gutted by Logan, I'm just... confused.

I would love a story about Scott having a panic attack and being comforted. Hell, I'd love to see him comforted by Logan! But this doesn't feel like it.

In this case, I think it's due to the overload of Cyclops' powers similar to what's affecting Magneto and the others over in the X-Men book rather than the 'panic attack' itself. Scott was worrying about it himself, and I don't think this book is doing a good job of explaining it.
