In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like.
Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.
The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.
Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.
It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.
The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me.
The Fox/Dominion court case was settled out of court for an eye-watering amount of money (Though they don't have to admit wrongdoing), and Tucker Carlson has now got the dubious distinction of having been fired by CNN, MSNBC AND Fox News in his career.
"Once and Always", the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers 30th Anniversary special aired. Some fun moments, even if the acting was... rarely MMPR's strong point. Clearly intended as a tribute to Thuy Trang's Trini, the original Yellow Ranger, it was rather overshadowed by the passing of Jason David Frank happening between the special being shot and it being aired, so whilst Trini was referred to with respect and admiration, Tommy was treated as "just another Ranger who is never seen unmorphed", it felt a little odd. Though even a cynic like me felt a little choked up at the finale scene, a flashback to an early episode where Amy Jo Johnson sang and played guitar whilst the rest of the group watch (They may be the oldest teenagers this side of 90210, but they all look so YOUNG!)
Picard came to an end with a PHENOMENAL amount of nostalgia, most of it hitting the mark (even though it seemed to have more "last scenes" than "Return of the King"), but also leaving lots of room for a sequel should the "next-er" generation be available.
"The Mandalorian" ended an uneven third season, using a certain brutal effciency in wrapping up plotlines, perhaps in case they didn't get a season 4? But if it had been the end, it would have been a nice final scene for the show.
Comedian, satirist and surrealist Barry Humphries died at the age of 89, perhaps best known as his spectacular alter ego "Dame Edna Everage".

Date: 2023-04-25 12:32 pm (UTC)You'd assume they have some kind of connections, or sway that they could use to help me (or validate their existence in some way) but they don't. I suspect the entire industry is just an elaborate scam to get government funding.
Decided to play Cobra Kai, hoping it would be entertainingly bad. It wasn't. At one point using a characters jumping attack I managed to glitch outside the arena and had to slowly kick my opponent to death through the walls. Also the bonus mode that lets you relive moments from the show, has a whopping TWO fights.
I've managed to avoid learning anything about the Mandalorian season three, other than the ending of season two (which I didn't really like), was undone in a spin-off show and subsequently ignored. Wow.
Well that and now I ship Bo-Katan and the Armourer.
My bootleg DVD's of The Bad Batch have arrived. For the moment I'll just say that Freddie Prinze Jr. can't convincingly voice a 12 year old.
I finished Deep Space Nine!
The Siege of AR-558: Bashir punishes the troubles by making them listen to Vic Fontaine.
Covenant: After started his own cult, Dukat is forced to choose between the well-being of his congregation and what's convenient for him. I'm sure his answer will shock you...
Also he kidnaps Kira to show how egalitarian he is, and why can't he just give his cult a chance, and maybe he'll let her leave....
It's Only a Paper Moon: an episode about Vic Fontaine....and I actually enjoyed it? Will miracles never cease?
The Emperor's New Cloak: Oh God. It's a Mirror Universe episode AND a Ferengi episode. What did I do to deserve this? Still at least Evil Kira kisses Evil Dax, and Evil Vic Fontaine gets killed.
Field of Fire: Dax decides to try and catch a serial killer despite having no qualifications. She also fails to report incredibly important information to Odo, endangering herself and others. oh yes and summoning the ghost of a dead serial killer to help her.
So the writers have decided that Joran Dax was actually a cold, calculating serial killer despite what his first appearance established. And he tries to corrupt Dax by basically going "Come on kill him, it'll be fun. You know you really want to kill him."
Badda-Bing Badda-Bang: Hooray for Sisko! Hooray for Avery Brooks! Yes, yes, yes that's it, criticize Vic Fontaine for being intrinsically linked to the racism of 1960's America!
Anyway the last nine episodes are too interconnected to describe individually. It's very uneven.
Sisko gets married!
Kira is sent to help the fledgling Cardassian resistance!
Odo gets a terminal illness!
Bashir devotes everything to finding a cure!
O'Brien and Bashir drive a man to suicide!
Worf kills his superior officer!
Quark complains about how progressive legislation is ruining Ferengi culture, which is funny, but then he boldy defends his right to sexually exploit his employees....yeah...
Will Dax admit she loves Bashir??? (you didn't even try did you writers)
Worf and Dax spend two episodes captured and whining at each other. Mostly it's Worf being angry that Dax had casual sex. Prick. That and the writers shilling for the Dax/Bashir romance they just made up.
And Dukat enacts his master plan. get surgery to look like a Bajoran and then seduce Kai Winn into joining the Pah-Wraith's. This is stupid, but also incredible and I was so excited to see where they went with this.
Will Kai Winn use her position to cause a religious schism, plunging Bajor into chaos? Perhaps stage a coup? Maybe she'll....use... a magic book so she can unleash the Pah-wraiths and their generic evil onto the galaxy. oh I'm sorry I thought Deep Space Nine was the darker, more mature Star Trek show about moral ambiguity.
Anyway the war is over, and our heroes are getting ready to go their separate ways beginning new chapters of their lives....AND NOW IT"S TIME FOR THE FINAL BATTLE. SISKO IS GOING TO HAVE A LAME FIGHT IN A CAVE! THE END.
That's the climax of your metaphysical plot? That's the great act which deems Sisko worthy to become a Prophet? You spent season seven hyping this up and it's the most underwhelming part of the finale?
Babylon 5 has to have had a better conclusion to it's metaphysical plot than this....

Date: 2023-04-25 01:15 pm (UTC)And yes, I mean you, Megaforce.
Might've misted up a little at the end bit. Might've.
... given how Tommy tended to overshadow the other MM/Zeo gang, his being put to the side for once would probably have been okay if not for what happened.
It is odd there's not much acknowledgement of Kat's history with Rita. Or, uh, any.
But then the focus is on Billy, Zack and Minh.
(Noticing how Billy's living status is left entirely for the viewer to make up their own mind about, beyond that he's rich, successful and happy.)
Also: Zack bringing back the hip-hop akido. Or to put it another way, Zack fighting Putties with dad-dancing.
Speaking of nostalgia tours...
It is a little funny how Patrick Stewart was against doing more Trek because he didn't want to just do a TNG reunion show, and then Picard season 3 is... a TNG reunion show.
Is that better than seasons 1 and 2? No idea. I'm salty about bringing back *TRAIN* and *AIRPLANE* and then *SENDING THEM TO A FARM*.
But yay, moderately happy ending for Seven.
(Better than what season 1 did to her.)
The ending of Mandalorian season 3.
Felt very much like an ending.
Kind of surprising there wasn't some tag to lead in to Ahsoka or something.
Din's just lucky. Those troops had that anti-riot baton.
Just imagine if Gideon had someone even half as dangerous as FN-2199 in his employ... that episode would've been a lot shorter.
Got a new laptop, to replace the old, busted one. (And a new printer which I didn't want or need because apparently the store insisted?)
Visited the local toy store. And it was booming with Rise of the Beasts stuff.
(comparatively speaking. It was sharing space with Earthspark, Legacy and Studio stuff. But there was a lot of Beasts in there.)
Speaking of which, apparently we almost got a Rum-Maj figure for Legacy, but they passed on it.
This is upsetting. (Guessing all the retooling budget's being siphoned to the insane amount of merch needed for Beasts.)
Jason Aaron's run on Avengers finally came to an end last week, in about as much a way as could be expected.
Next up is Jed MacKay, and after a run that concluded with a big nasty multiversal threat, MacKay's run begins with... a big nasty multiversal threat!
...
... I know multiverse stuff is in vogue right now, but can't help but feel incredibly burnt out on it.
Oh, and Murray Gold's coming back to Doctor Who.
Yay!
Nothing against the person what replaced him, but a lot of the music in Chibnall's run was pretty generic.

It's sad seeing Barry Humphries pass away. Man could that guy turn a phrase. What jumped immediately to mind was when he's playing an aged lothario in Absolutely Fabulous: the Movie.
Joanna Lumley (Patsy): ...She's a gold digger!
Barry Humphries: I'm a gold MINE!
The ending of Picard actually made me tear up, so... mission accomplished I guess?

Date: 2023-04-25 01:38 pm (UTC)Galactus is the new Wong. At least for me.
It was fun at the beginning, but one fight out of three being just "how do I keep them from using Galactus" , it's becomming really annoying.
I guess I have to change all my decks like I had to do for Wong, and put some Debrii or Aero everywhere.
I also hate Wave even more than before.
I don't know what's happening with the matchmaking. Now, fighting the same player two times in a row happens almost automatically. There is even one I encountered four times in a row.
That's concerning. Are there so few people playing the game?
Anyway, the card hunt was quite good.
Orka. Well, that's a card. He gave me a win againts Leader, so that's that. But I wont be using him often.
Luke Cage! Yay, I can use Hazmat now! But turns out it's not enough, and to have a chance, I need Luke + Hazmat + a Hazmat booster. I don't often have the whole set in my hand.
Silver Surfer. I put him in the Patriot deck. Good card, but I still wonder if he was worth replacing Super Skrull.
Valkyrie. Just got her, and I'm on trial and error. Mostly errors. Still, a nice counter to the goblins.
Kraven variant. Not a pixel or a chibi or a Dan Hipp, so that's a win.

Date: 2023-04-25 11:33 pm (UTC)I've said it before but I feel like the difference between a good card and a bad card is how you feel when it beats you.
If your reaction is "I wish I had that card" or "I should use that more" then it's a good card.
If it is "I wish people would stop using that card" "or I wish they'd do something about that card" then it's a bad card.
Wong is a good card. Even though I'm considering buying him just because I know he won't become more common, I think Galactus is a bad card. He's just not fun to play against. If I sabotage their Galactus then they retreat. If they successfully use Galactus and I don't have a counter then I retreat.
For the record I think Thanos was a good card but I didn't get to play with him before they buried him in nerfs. I didn't retreat from Thanos decks because I knew I had a fighting chance but he still looked fun to play with.
I think the idea of Shuri is sound but she's part of a really frustrating combo that is bad. She's another card I used to retreat at the sight of. I don't see enough of her now to know where she stands currently.
I'll be really curious to see how things shake out with Leader. First he was the absolute worst card in the game (to play against). Then he was one of the worst (to use). Hopefully the current version finds a middle ground.

Date: 2023-04-25 01:57 pm (UTC)Comics continue to suck. Again, only Dead Boy Detectives interested me this year on American side. RWBY volume 9 ended, and well, that’s all that could be said about the season. It turned out to be a particularly pretty ten episodes’ worth of filler material. I dropped Pretty Cure, Ancient Magus’ Bride and Sacrificial Princess and the King of the Beast, not because of anything with those series, but because I have too much anime to watch. I binge the series on Sundays, and if I watched everything I wanted I wouldn’t have time for anything else. Pissed that Harry Potter and Twilight will get tv series reboots where there are so many manga series with similar premises that are never on the radar of producers. For a better Harry Potter, check out Little Witches’ Academia, Welcome at the Demon School Iruma-kun, Magic and Muscles, or even My Hero Academia. For a better Twilight, check out Seimaden (isekai rather than urban fantasy and with demonic rather than vampiric love interest) or Vampire Knight (I KNOW how it ended up being, it’s still better than Twilight); heck even Seraph of the End is recommended if you are interested in cool vampires in general, it has a fun gay romance. The vampire stories I am familiar with in general tend to be either bad, waaay above the age of Twilight readers, or have no human/vampire romance. Recs of other series fitting similar mold are appreciatted!

Date: 2023-04-25 04:23 pm (UTC)Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a TV sitcom/dramedy about the Cullens before they meet Bella à la Being Human or What We ado In The Shadows. I’ve never gotten into Twilight, but I love Alice’s hair and their dynamic sounds like it could be fun enough if done right. Harry Potter just feels like blatant damage control on Warner Bros. part though.

Alice has her general quirkiness, ability to tell the future, and her mysterious past that she doesn't even remember.
Emmett wrestles bears for fun and has big himbo energy
Rosalee was killed by her fiancé and his friends before their wedding, brought back to life by Carlisle intended to be a wife for Edward, hunted and killed all of her killers while wearing her wedding dress, and rejected Edward. The only one who never drank human blood.
And yet we follow Edward and Bella.

Date: 2023-04-27 11:33 am (UTC)What angers me about the Harry Potter and Twilight reboots is that both series received complete and faithful adaptations barely a decade ago, which puts them in a different basket than Japanese reboots of older shows whose adaptations were loose/incomplete/not what the creator originally wanted (Gundam the Origin, Sailor Moon Crystal, Devilman Crybaby, Tokyo Mew Mew New, Trigun Stampede, etc). I can't help but feel it is a sign of imaginative bankrupcy of large studios who don't want to invest in anything new. Plus these series in particular are hella problematic and best to leave in silence.

Also, I guess Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo are the only Muppets with money to waste. How will I know if I’m following the real Grover?
(And then the weekend happened and apparently all the accounts – including a fake one claiming to be Disney Jr UK – with over a million subscribers were automatically verified for some reason. Me: Well, I guess I’ll watch the last season of Better Call Saul while I cat-sit.

(Also, I guess they’re ending the disc rentals this year. I didn’t know they were still doing that.)

I did watch the Power Rangers 30th anniversary special. It handled some (okay, one) actor absences better than others and is largely a Zack and Billy story for obvious reasons. I had a big smile when I recognized the voice behind Alpha (I was today years old when I realized “Richard Wood” was Richard Steven Horvitz. Really should have noticed that when I was rewatching the Christmas specials a while back). Also Bulk and Skull selling sandwiches is a much better direction for then than becoming cops.
I finished the rest of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur season one and it confirmed I was right about something I mentioned before. Considering the titular pair seem to be able to communicate perfectly, I’m not sure if its funnier that Devil didn’t notice or that he just didn’t share.
Dracula Daily starts up again on May 3 for those who missed it previously.

I still think it’s an interesting way to experience an epistolary novel even if a lot of the later emails that managed to avoid my spam folder remain unread.
Assuming Discovery doesn’t decide to kill it at the last minute, Venture Bros: Radiant Is the Blood of the Baboon Heart is coming at some point this year. I’m a little fuzzy if it will be part of the upcoming DVD box set or if it will get a physical release at all.
Looks like Final Space is getting a graphic novel (the designs indicate its NOT a proper finale) which is weird I thought this show was killed for a tax write-off.
Jim Butcher confirmed that The Olympian Affair (the second Cinder Spires book) will be out on November 7th.
I “love” the completely random update times for DC Infinite. Maybe it will be updated Tuesday morning. Maybe Tuesday afternoon. Maybe by Wednesday. Maybe not at all. Or maybe no new comics came out six months and a week ago; it isn’t like late in the year is a busy time for retailers. Say what you will about Marvel Unlimited but the books are always up early Monday … often significantly more of them than they meant to add that week.
(Edit: the books were added by Sunday. I read World’s Finest #8, The Flash #787, and Nightwing #97]
World’s Finest was fantastic, Flash finally acknowledges that Wally doesn’t have anything going on beyond being a superhero dad (hopefully they follow up on that), and Nightwing* took a very odd turn after wondering aimlessly for months.
*Is there any fictional character with a worse career trajectory than Maggie Sawyer? She keeps getting police commissioner jobs in progressively worse places. If this keeps up she’s going to be in Hub City before long.)
I’ve been reading Kurt Busiek’s Superman run; some of it for the first time. This is a very good run. My one note is this run seems really poorly timed. A lot of the story in Camelot Falls centers around the idea that humanity would be better off without superheroes because every time they save the day the dangers escalate until one day they’ll be too big and bring about an apocalypse. This story is set right in the One Year Later era where most of the major heroes (including Superman) were returning after being inactive for a year so it feels like this is less a philosophical debate and more something that would have come up in the last 12 months. I guess “poor timing” could also apply to the late Carlos Pacheco’s delays but that just gave us more opportunities for Busiek to do more great single issue stories with fill-in artists. Also, the whole “Third Kryptonian” arc is funny partly because we’re constantly told that Power Girl, Chris, and Krypto don’t count and partly because New Krypton is just around the corner.
(I haven’t read all the Action Comics issues that coincide with it so I wonder if they explain how Krypto went for “missing for a year” to “oh, he’s with Jimmy”. I did read the Krypto story they published during Grounded that picks up right after Infinite Crisis and then I needed to stop reading for the day. If you’ve read it, you know why.)
I actually read some of my Hoopla borrows this month.
It helps that two of them were Stan Sakai art books (Art of Usagi Yojimbo and Usagi Yojimbo: 35 Years of Covers).
In The Rocketeer: The Great Race our hero flies a dangerous aircraft (no, a different one), makes a new friend, punches some Nazis, and fails to maintain a secret identity. I don’t know why it took so long to realize this but Cliff Secord really is just all the cool parts of Hal Jordan without the …everything else of Hal Jordan.
I also read a bunch of the Mighty Nein Origins OGNs (Celeb, Jester, and Yasha). The Yasha one stood out the most because (a) Ashley Johnson’s scheduling conflicts resulted in Yasha being the least developed of the bunch so she was most in need of something like this and (b) I really don’t care for the art. The others are perfectly fine comics that mostly tell you things you already know if you watched the second Critical Role campaign. Probably a pretty solid entry point for the Amazon series they announced, though.
Marvel Snap unlocks:
Continuing numbering from last week just to see how long it takes to get the last four pool 3s. The drop rates seem a lot better when I do them as I go instead of doing them all at once.
24 – Kingpin – Off to a good start. He looks fun to play around with even if he REALLY telegraphs the last turn. Kind of a shame he doesn’t work like Fisk Tower but I guess that would make him way too powerful. He seems like he’d work well with Nimrod (which I don’t have) in a Movement deck but I have no place in Cerebro Four because he falls short of the weakest link (Phil Coulson). Shame Areo isn’t as good as she used to be.
25 – 500 Collectors Tokens – Almost half way to a pool 5 card. Hopefully whatever I get doesn’t get nerfed as often as Thanos.
26 – 400 Credits – “Sorry, try again. Here’s 2/3 of your spent credits back”
27 – Luke Cage Pixel Variant – I can’t wait to have all the pixel variants so I stop getting pixel variants.
28 – Attuma – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUHk2RSMCS8&ab_channel=Odin
(I bet you were expecting the Kindergarten Cop clip)
I know there are ways to work around Attuma’s downside and I think he’s going to be much better when more of us have Knull in a month.
29 – 400 Credits –*sigh*
30 – 200 Collectors Tokens –I can’t wait to buy whatever the hot new card is in two months.
31 – Valkyrie – It seems like this game really doesn’t want me to have Shuri. Oh well, all the new pool 3s are solid and Val works well with the Bast I got last week.
32 – 400 Credits – So if it takes 600 credits (generally) to go up the 12 Collection Levels you need to open up the next Collector’s Reserve then opening three Collector’s Reserves with 1200 total credits is basically just breaking even on two and getting nothing on the third. I think I’d rather have a terrible title I won’t use at this point.
33 – Vulture Variant (it just says “Variant”) – Another design I don’t recognize. He looks like a luchador.
34 – 500 Collectors Tokens
35 – “Rhymes with Orange” Title – So they just didn’t reject any title ideas, huh?
(Still no Shuri...but I wrote the following few paragraphs assuming I’d have her after a week and I’m not changing it.)
#? – Shuri – Finally! Okay, sort of a mixed bag. She’s not as good as she used to be. Also having all the pool 3 cards means I’ve reached the point where the game stops giving me new things (other than Pixel Variants) unless I spend money or wait a month.
I doubt I will be opening enough Tokens in the next three weeks to get Galactus or Kang – if I do, I’ll be cutting it close – and I don’t want to risk getting a pool 4* card that’s about to become a pool 3 card so I guess I’m done with Collector’s Reserves until mid to late May when we all get Kitty. Looking forward to unlocking a ton of variants next time there’s an event like the Steampunk and Winter things in June or whenever.
*(Assuming the pattern continues, Silver Surfer, Darkhawk, Knull, and Sentry will be May’s new pool 3 cards. Since everyone gets one as a freebie, that will mean opening another dozen Collector’s Reserves…give or take based on luck. Apparently, I was mistaken on the pool 4 drop rates; there isn’t one in every 40, there’s one in every GROUP is 40 so there may be 78 attempts before you get there again.)
Dropped as low as rank 56 last week. New season starts in a week. I clawed back up as high as 65 with a pretty basic Patriot Deck that includes Super Skrull but I’ve gone up to 60 only to drop again a lot this season.
Since I started at 70, all I’m really missing out on are an ugly Hit Monkey Avatar (80), some gold (90), and … okay that Goose card-back (100) looks amazing and I want it.
Between the Classic Agatha, Alex Ross Dr Strange, and Giulio Rincione Hobgoblin, Friday was the best looking my variant shop has ever been but I don’t have enough gold for more than a couple so I ended up passing on everything. I should probably start hoarding gold for the inevitable Spider-Verse tie-in bundles in June.
I could have sworn we were getting weekly Thursday updates starting last week but I guess the monthly Tuesday update was big enough that they didn’t bother.

Date: 2023-04-25 03:27 pm (UTC)*(legitimately don't know why they didn't use the same mechanics and go with Snowbird since she's significantly less obscure)
A lot of the time the theme is tied to a movie release (the cards that came out alongside Wakanda Forever were just significantly reduced in rarity last week) so I think Songbird's best chance of getting into the game will be in July of 2024 when Thunderbolts comes out.
Wiccan seems inevitable because the game has steadily been adding YA characters and he's already in the MCU, though. I think Iron Lad is supposed to be coming next month.
For me the bigger question with Power Pack is "why has there been no animated Disney or Pixar movie or series?"

Date: 2023-04-25 03:56 pm (UTC)Tell me about it. My inner 10 year old has been waiting 38 years for a Power Pack animated series. I want to March into Disney's animation offices and shake them. "Look! It's right there!"

Date: 2023-04-25 05:16 pm (UTC)(And I should probably stop there. Partly because talking about Loners and Beyond again will only make me more angry and partly because discussing Prodigy’s relationship to heroism is worthy of an essay by itself.)
Wait, these are technically Sony characters, right? Spider-Verse spin-off?

Date: 2023-04-25 05:27 pm (UTC)Big Hero 6 is basically unrecognizable from its inspiration. They mostly just used the names.
Moon Girl kept the broad strokes (girl genius with pet t-rex) but added/changed a lot.
With Power Pack the blueprint is RIGHT THERE. We even have a workable modern version in the minis Gurihiru drew.

Date: 2023-04-25 05:09 pm (UTC)There is a Patriot, but it's the new one and they didn't even bother to make a Eli variant.
I like that there is at least one member for almost every young and "formerly young" team: Hazmat, Stature, Ironheart, Nova, Sunspot, Jubilee, Rockslide.
Oddly, the Runaways are missing.

Date: 2023-04-25 05:49 pm (UTC)America is one of the first cards you get in the game.
Stature was added in the Quantumania season.
Iron Lad and Loki have been leaked (though I have no idea when Loki is coming)

I’d say they’ve been pretty good about YA inclusion considering the game is fairly new and a number of major characters don’t have cards yet.
(It is a little weird we haven’t had Kate as a Hawkeye variant yet. Same with teen Vision…though I guess he makes more sense as an Iron Lad variant.)

The Girl I Want is So Handsome! Yuri manga in which a high school student has a crush on the star basketball player. Confusion over a love confession ends up with her becoming the team's coach.
I have also decided to give The Quintessential Quintuplets another try. I don't know why it didn't click for me the first time. Any way, I'm going to continue with it.
Marvel titles of interest:
Captain America Epic Collection: Bucky Reborn. Bucky is alive! Oh, wait. It's an imposter! Oh, wait. The imposter is actually a robot! I will make a more detailed post about it later.
Mighty Avengers by Dan Slott: The Complete Collection. Never read it before, so I don't know whether it is any good.
Punisher: Franken-Castle. Wolverine's son chops the Punisher in to pieces and chucks him down the sewer, where Morbiys stitches him back together as a Frankenstein.
Quasar Classic Vol. 1. I finished Mark Gruenwald’s run on Captain America, so of course I'm going to read Quasar again.
Thor Epic Collection: The Black Galaxy. The DeFalco/Frenz run is a fun mixture of Silver Age silliness and 90's nonsense.
As for Marvel Snap unlocks, I got Shuri and Super Skrull through Collector's Reserves, as well as a Bucky boxcar variant. I cashed in my tokens and got Black Panther as well.
I presently have Nimrod pinned as well as a rad looking Ghost Rider fantasy variant.

Date: 2023-04-25 06:24 pm (UTC)Nope. WotC sent the fucking Pinkertons to get the cards back.
Have fun with the rabbit hole about the history and practices of the Pinkertons. This really should be the last straw for people dropping WotC like a bad habit.

But nothing can match Zero Dawn for storytelling. Discovering the ancient ones and Enduring Victory and the truth about Zero Dawn...incredible
