He could just kill them all as babies, but that's like playing a video game and skipping a great boss fight. So he raises the difficulty. Can he conquer the world with a single sword-ship? How about a single growing android? If he breaks his toys, he just resets.
Someone should make a strategy action game where you scheme against a group of superheroes. That would be awesome.
