Ah, the dark time when the Hipsters ran Brooklyn. Their ruthless pseudo-intellectual rule enforced by weapons-grade sneers and a limitless supply of caffeine. Then they went mainstream and it all fell apart.
Now, the question is, will Fake Miles use this to make the dramatic revelation to Aaron this he is an alternate version of his nephew? "What does that make us?" "Absolutely nothing!"
Still can't believe that 616!Miles/Ultimatum's costume is just a collection of the ugliest, most dated design elements from the Ultimate Universe. It's fascinating, a costume which has been consciously designed to look ugly.
I guess it's cool that the whole universe hopping thing is being addressed, but then again, Bendis made the decision to treat the whole move to the 616 as unceremoniously as possible for a reason. Seems like he figured, probably rightly, that writing a whole bunch of nonsense about how and why Miles Morales switched universes would be 1) not interesting and 2) miss the point of the character. Then again the Spider-Verse movie is the most high profile thing Miles Morales has ever been in, so maybe being embroiled in a bunch of multiverse nonsense is just the character's role now.

Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
