So, whatever force has made Gamora turn evil (I'm thinking some kind of mind control) has apparently taken her memory. Thanos, being upset at being dead?
Even if he isn't a Death lover anymore, he's still Thanos. For him, dying is about as much an inconvenience as realising the milk's gone off. (Even if he doesn't get better by the end of this event, he'll be back by next April anyway...)
I can see, given their relationship, she expected him to be upset because she was supposed to be a weapon for him to use, only to become the weapon that struck him down. But from Thanos perspective, she served as his weapon marvelously by killing him.
