With New Year's approaching let's see how the Team Titans celebrated the coming of 2001.

Plus, how did the Team Titans meet Terra?

On Christmas Eve the Team Titans become aware of a metahuman who's trying to fight against Lord Chaos (Donna Troy and Terry Long's power mad son). From there the Team Titans recruit the girl quickly and she say's she's Terra, not the original but the daughter of Geoforce who was named after her Aunt Tara Markov, but the Shadowy Leader of the Team Titans knows it can't be true somehow and begins to investigate her being fairly sure the girl's lying.



This revelation of course raises the suspicions of the Leader who knows there has to be a relationship somehow that this girl appeared shortly after the first Terra grave was moved around.           



The Teamer's waste little time and attack and quickly defeat Terra II and then put on a brain probe to find out what her secret is.

 

And so the Teamer's go about their buisness as they've known for a while that Lord Chaos is trying to do something on the coming New Year's.

Come New Years they finally find out Lord Chaos' plan. Lord Chaos has been using numb dust on the general population which allows the human population to become more suggestible. Combined with the television networks which love showing New Year's arrive and that it's the important coming New Millennium of 2001 millions of people would be thrown under Lord Chaos' thrall. 

And so the Teamer's do their best to make the feed at New York's "Chaos Square" a mess.



Then we see the statue of Lord Chaos get destroyed by rocks. The statue  visually is there to have the New Year's Ball fall into Lord Chaos' statues hands.



Thankfully Lord Chaos is more than a little bit dramatic and the Teamer's managed to score a pretty good victory.

          

And Terra II lived happily ever after... Happy New Year's everyone!
