In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like.

Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.

Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.

Somewhat on topic, principle filming for the animated movie of 2000AD's Rogue Trooper has wrapped.

It contained all the pertinent info about the characters, their background, training, skills, psychological profile, peer assessment statements, etc. There was a full page for each character. Kirk Bozigian from Hasbro was at the Marvel offices one day and saw the dossiers on my desk. He said, "We HAVE to put these on the backs of the packages!" Kirk edited them down to two short paragraphs each, and now file cards are standard on action figures.' - Larry Hama
