Nrama: You mentioned "Frank" earlier, and I'm assuming you mean Frank Miller. Wasn't he originally supposed to be involved in this project?
Adams: He was, and he's gotten kind of busy, and it didn't seem to be all that necessary, although he has demanded that he gets to see the stuff before other people. [laughs] And I'm sure he'll give me some sage advice, just like I used to give him sage advice. But it's not really necessary at this point. I write a very tight script.

Astro City #31 - "Nightmare Life"

"When I started reading comics, the continuity was a huge part of the appeal to me. Nowadays it’s a drawback. Not the character’s history, but the interlockedness of it all tying up creative vision into narrower boxes than I’d prefer. I’m glad to see Frank Miller’s take on the DC characters in their own world. I’d love to see it for other creators. I’d like to see Mark Waid do _exactly_ what he’d like to do with Superman, without having to be concerned about editorial approval or whether it matches up with what’s going on in FLASH or JLA. I’d like to see Jaime Hernandez do whatever the hell he wanted. Or others. I want ridiculous stories." -- Kurt Busiek

DC published an announcement concerning the coming Rebirth event with Geoff Johns explaining their mission and thought-process on it. There also hints with what they will try to re-establish with it and since I thought it was a worth a watch, I also decided to share it here for those who haven't seen it yet.

Now, one thing I must point out that I found hilarious in it. Not only is the person presenting the one who removed the biggest legacy character in DCU history by completely eradicating Wally West as Flash, but in addition when discussing GL: Rebirth Johns makes it clear how important it was for him to have Kyle Rayner remain a core character in Green Lantern mythology yet with Flash: Rebirth Wally West basically again gets ignored in order to focus how important Barry Allen is to everything and everyone.
