Lois and Clark a la Warren Ellis

I was reading an interview with Yang and Romita where they said that Lois and Clark should not be a romantic item. I respectfully disagree. Many of us---myself included, probably--think their marriage was a mistake. But have they ever been portrayed well as both a married/romantic couple-- and a pair of reporters working together?
Yes.
Many times.
