These are the three pages that in essence are an epilogue after Booster got his sister out of Coast City when she got time lost and landed in Coast City during the Reign of the Supermen.

Old Man Booster! Awww. Makes me wonder if he was the one who trained Rip in a huge paradox.

Other key points. Hypertime is back! Granted I never really thought it left which makes my thought on who Rip's mom is more plausible.

And I believe that they're more or less saying that it was Old Man Booster who had accessed Kord Industries before and BWA-HA-HA'ed in the 1,000,000 issue.

When this series started, wasn't it going to be about traveling to alternate Earths as well as different points in time? Did they ever do much with that?

Now that's how you age a character.

Too bad there's no Old Man Beetle to back him up. :(

Rip's got brown hair. Booster's a blond.

There might be an old ma'am Beetle.

She lost her boyfriend, who future Booster knocked out of the rescue path in order to throw present Booster into it (he'll probably be fine...there were suggestions there's more to him than it appeared), but aside from that, she's fine.

Rip's expression when he asks about his mom makes me think his mom might be a former villainess. He looks as though he's asking not because he just misses her, but he's curious as to whether or not she's getting into trouble again.

So, uh.
I'm not following this book but.

How often does Booster ensure terrible things happen? 'cause that seems like the opposite of what I'd expect from a superhero.

...Has he stopped anyone from saving Ted Kord yet? That'd be hilarious, in a "so I don't cry" way.

I don't think the shadowy figure from Booster Gold One Mil is actually Hot Old Man Booster, I'm still holding onto the belief that it's a time-displaced Ted.

Shadowy Figure has the scarab, which I seriously doubt Hot Old Man Booster has. I would assume that in the future, it is still in Jaime's spine. There WAS a leftover scarab that I'm pretty sure bounced into the time sphere during the fight between Ted and Black Beetle all those issues ago. And we still don't know how THAT little temporal tidbit played out.

Also, Booster's comment during the Blackest Night tie-in about the locks. Only Ted or Booster could get in, and Booster hasn't been by, and the only other person who could get in is...well...currently living impaired. Could Hot Old Man Booster have gotten in? Sure. But why would he have the Scarab unless his Tedwife had a spare and loaned it out?

So many unanswered questions. I need Vic and/or Renee.

time travel. He could have picked up the Scarab after Jaime died. See according to this issue the Carter Family isn't just living thirty five or forty years in the future of the DCU. They're somewhere in the timestream itself where even Rip can have trouble tracking them.

Who thinks that Rip's mom is that time traveler from the last few issues.

Who also has a hard time believing there's detailed records of those who died in Coast City?
