Gotham City Sirens 7 - 'absent friends'

I have a question about this image from Gotham City Sirens #7, and it's probably due to my inability to keep continuity straight in my head amongst the umpty-gazillion Batbooks going on right now. Help me out gang?

Dick and Selina are having a last holiday toast by the fire before Damian drags Dick out to hunt the "animal out there killing runaway kids" (see Batman #694, I believe):

OK, Bruce and Tim, fairly obvious - presumed dead and off in Europe refusing to presume; Holly Robinson, offscreen somewhere trying to live down the shame that was Countdown; Baby Helena, adopted out; Harley and Ivy, off holidaying outside Gotham, as detailed in the other plot threads in this issue (see here for Harley's holiday hijinx).

But why is Alfred an Absent Friend? Last time I checked in with Outsiders, he was going to be running the team from the Cave/Manor, with Halo at least living at Wayne Manor. Has that changed? Is he off on a mission I've missed?

One panel from Gotham City Sirens #7 under the cut, not my scan, we've had 3.5 pages so far which brings us to just over 4 pages don't make me add fractions!.

Tag suggestions: char: alfred pennyworth, char: batman/bruce wayne, char: batman/dick grayson, char: catwoman/holly robinson, char: catwoman/selina kyle, char: harley quinn/harleen quinzel, char: poison ivy/pamela isley, char: robin/red robin/tim drake, creator: david lopez, creator: paul dini, publisher: dc comics, title: gotham city sirens (whew!)

Well, he was only laughing about it when he realised Selina wanted him to tell Batman all about it. At the time, he wasn't objecting, and she was certainly enjoying it, on a purely physical level.

The way Dixon wrote her in that issue was kind of extreme, though. All about pleasure and excitement, with no concern for the consequences.

And none of what's been written since Dick took over as Batman makes me think the writers are going there, with the two of them. The art work is a different matter, what with Selina's ridiculously skimpy swimsuit, and the thigh high split in her dress.

But it seems that, unfortunately, Dick is probably going to be stuck in another rut with Babs before too long. You know, where he tries to make her happy, and she just gripes and complains about every single thing he does.

And just generally seems to not like him. She seems to really not like him, a lot of the time. Somebody recently pointed out to me how the writers haven't even found a way to make her even say something kind to him about the loss of Bruce. So it's odd to me that the powers that be might want to start the whole sad deal of their romantic relationship again.
