But in the meantime, I'll enjoy him as ironically as possible. I just think it's hilarious that he wants to take over Peter's crappy life that he (Ben) doesn't even remember having at this point. It honestly makes Kraven or early Venom's motivations look calm and reasonable. If only that had been the game plan when he did take over for Peter in the Nineties and everyone feckin' hated it!
And also, Ben, I hate to break this to you, but someone ELSE has ALREADY stolen Peter's life and memories. It was called Superior Spider-Man, and it was pretty fun. Do you think you can use Doc Ock's mind-switching, memory-sharing tech with anything like the panache that Ock brought to the role? No? Well, never mind then.
