Avengers #268

In a typically convoluted plan, Kang has lured the Avengers to Limbo to eliminate his last remaining variant.

The Wasp's group eventually fight their way to Kang's castle, only to be confronted by one of his Growing Men. Meanwhile, the rest of the Avengers use the Leader's time platform to travel to Limbo.

do the dire wraiths go to the same limbo that Illyana rules, or a different limbo?

Different Limbo.
(Similar properties, but Yana's Limbo is more magical.)

It also gets turned into magical metal by Doctor Doom more often.

Edit -- Illyana's Limbo that is.

Illyana's Limbo is the south side of Limbo.

Kang and Immortus hang out in the swankier, classier north Limbo.

Ah, the Rom mention a reminder of how Marvel had to edit out any mentions of him for a long while thanks to rights stuff.

Love Black Knight speaking for us all with "great, another one..."

Funny how they could say, mention Pikachu or Conan O'Brien or something in passing as a jest with no issue, but mentioning something they themselves created (toy/name aside), wrote, and published in a similar fashion is a big no-no.

I do enjoy Kang as a villain, but dear god, is he headache inducing. Between his variants and the time travel...

I've actually always been impressed that Kang seems to fight the Avengers "linearly." That is, each time we fight Kang follows from the next. We don't see a Kang that, say, had his last battle with the leather jacket era team, decide to go back and fight the Kooky Quartet instead after he loses.

Granted, that'd just make the time travel even more confusing...
