Date: 2023-09-18 07:16 pm (UTC)I really have a lot of love for Bronze Age Batman and the awareness of his limitations. Like, absolutely, the guy whose whole gimmick is kites is going to be better. And Bats says it out loud. These days, at best, it would be restricted to a “I hate to admit it, but he might be better than me” caption.
Heck, I can’t see the Bat editors of the 90’s and 00’s even allowing Boomerbutt to come that close to a win.
