Gwen Poole has been trying to initiative some kind of romance since she realized she was in a romance comic. First, it was trying to start a love triangle with Wither and Elixer on Krakoa, but she fled when she realized that Wither can control over his powers and thus could touch her. Then she unexpected met Julie Powers and fell for her (literally and figuratively). Last issue, however, as they grew more intimate, Gwen broke down and asked to stop.

Why? Even there, she's acting in ways she thinks is needed for the story, not for herself.
