Now Bruno Redondo's artwork on the Nightwing has been good... very good... DAMN good, if I might be so bold. It's clear, and kinetic and his Dick Grayson is ridiculously pretty.
So it's a little surprising that he's only drawing one image for this issue
But it's not what you think because that single image is the entire gosh darn comic, as every page leads directly into the next in an unbroken series of images.
Now, I was here for the gimmick storytelling of the 90's, with that issue of X-Force which had to be read in portrait rather than landscape (Turning the comic through 90 degrees. in other words) or issues coposed entirely of splash pages (which just seemed like cheating)
This though, seems to be on a different level
Because these are double page spreads I'm only posting one here,, but you can see other's on the link at Polygon's page here.
DC's blurb for the issue is:
This special Nightwing issue is ONE CONTINUOUS IMAGE! That’s right—if you placed every page next to each other, you’ll have one poster image with this story! Now that billionaire Dick Grayson has publicly dedicated his funds to save Blüdhaven, he’s a wanted man—and that’s why he finds hired killers breaking in to steal his dog, Haley!

And the standard cover is very nice, as one might expect, with a bit of a nod to the strobing effect Scott McDaniel developed for his seminal Nightwing run.

But the Jamal Campbell variant cover... Lord have mercy on my poor gay soul...
