Star Wars #41 - "The Ashes of Jedha, Part IV"

No one wants to see grim and gritty Luke Skywalker. But at the same time, there is an integration between the aesthetic of Rogue One and the New Hope cast. We’re kind of rubbing them up against each other. -- Kieron Gillen

The art on this. When the art doesn't involve faces then it is incredible. When it does involved faces, it makes Rogue One Tarkin look good. Okay, that is unfair, I thought the Tarkin CGI was actually pretty good; the facial art on this, though, is straight from the depths of the most terrifying part of the uncanny valley.

Salvador Larocca’s art had seemed to fluctuate in my opinion, but here, it’s just real good!

YEAH, the faces are so terribly Uncanny Valley. But the rest of it's neat!
