As far as I'm concerned this is just a defective clone left over from the Clone Conspiracy arc in Spider-Man and we'll get a Shyamalanian twist that the real Felicia's been in a stasis pod the whole time, which will lead into her own solo run where she tries to atone for what horrible things the copy did and she spends a lot of time brooding like the majority of fun-loving characters without Squirrel Girl brand angst-resistant armor seem to be doing right now.

Yeah, I haven't been this bummed by a Dan Slott character decision since he had Awesome Andy commit 'suicide' by reverting to his default settings.

Not gonna lie, that was a weird one. I mean, I kind of see the point of putting Ben through some hell to differentiate him more from Peter, but I don't think he had to go quite -that- grimdark. But that's me.
