As seen further down the page, each issue of the SUPERMAN: AMERICAN ALIEN miniseries had a one page story. Issue #5 had a less "meta" story where Jimmy Olsen and Perry White don't appear, but they are both awesome.

AMERICAN ALIEN had a few references to the Christopher Nolan movie. Ra's Al Ghul (in his green business suit and fabulous cape outfit) is one of Bruce's teachers. This could be another one. "Harvey Dent is alive and killing people based on the flip of a coin, and Batman and Gordon are covering it up for reasons" would be an interesting plot for a Batman story.
