Justice League #22

Captain Marvel goes to Khandaq to spread out Black adam ashes. He feels guilty for his death and thought this would be the best way to ease his conscience by give him a proper funeral.

The Khandaq army attacks him and Billy gets annoyed by the ammunition thrown at him. But before he can do anything else, Superman comes along and super speed punches him. Bill regains his footing and punch Superman back and excitedly surprise about his powers to do that to man of steel. Superman recovers from the punch and super speed bum rushes Captain Marvel .

The Justice league of America shows up on the scene surprising the Justice league. Both groups get into a argument of course over which group going to handle Captain Marvel.

So the trinity war begins with Doctor light "death" being the catalyze for it to happen.

The issue ends in a all out double page brawl between the Justice league of America and the Justice league.

Really? Thank god. I mean, it's obvious DC don't have guts to actualy make Superman go to jail, so there would be no way to not make this work. Still curious how are they gonna make Supes not look like complete dumbfuck in this situation.

Pretty sure superman is going to Jail. The solicitations talk about one leaguer being in Custody and previews for JLA #6 show Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman at one of the supermax prisons.

I wonder that about most stories. Like when Superior spiderman ends how are they going to relay the fact that is was spock not peter straight up murdering folks.
