Well, Superman flying off the handle when Wonder Woman accidentally got zapped may also be Geoff Johns way of showing that Superman and Wonder Woman get together have only made things potentially worse, not to mention that they may not actually be right for one another in spite of their mutual attraction and feelings of loneliness. After all, we see Superman and Wonder Woman clearly don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to killing bad guys, and once they start to argue, Superman flat out says "Maybe we should change the subject?" And Superman is not nearly as comfortable with anything involving the supernatural like Wonder Woman is. And, according to Batman, the reason why Billy Batson/Shazam thought he could get away with going to Khandaq is because Superman and Wonder Woman did it first.
