One thing does not make sense in Brock's reasoning- didn't Peter destroy the sample of the suit he wore so the second one that Brock bonds to had never touched Peter? So what links them together?

In fact why does Trask even need Brock? Given Conners had copies and Brock didn't clear up his lab very well surly the notes are floating around? I seem to remember Peter only needed a small sample for his 'suit' so I doube Brock used all of his thus their should even be biosamples knocking about... still comics heh?
