See, this whole primer thing is kinda what I think Hush was more of. Pretty art by 90's icon Jim Lee, nearly every bat villain from TAS, and a simple "mystery" to make dupes scratch their heads and smarties feel superior. It's junk food Batman.
All the same, hearing the buzz about said Jim Lee art Jason maybe being back in it got me into the bat books after a years long hiatus; he was my Robin as a child and when he died I kinda gave up the books for awhile. So while not a masterpiece by any means, it did a fine job of what it set out to do.
