With the second issue we bring Supergirl in and the reason for that more than anything else – there’s a plot reason but the real reason is because I realized that in 80 years of Robin and 60 years of Supergirl, they’ve never had a conversation. Mod Post: Off-Topic Tuesday

Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.
The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.
Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.
It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.
The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me.
Elon Musk now appears to be in the "haggling" stage over his acquisition of Twitter.
LEGO are producing an official Optimus Prime toy, though you'd think that given their near infinite variability, LEGO would consider something which has two forms to be aiming somewhat low.
In sports, Jake Daniels has come out as gay, making him the only openly out, male professional football player in the country for over 30 years (The last was Justin Fashanu in 1990). Given soccer's longstanding issues with homophobia, this is a very brave move by someone who is only 17.
The Perseverance rover on Mars is moving to a feature which is believed to be a dried up river delta to search for signs of (former) life (We should know for sure in about... ten years when the samples it takes arrived back on Earth.
The Eurovision Song Contest at the weekend saw Ukraine win, to no-one's surprise, but to EVERYONE'S surprise, the United Kingdom came SECOND!!
More news from Doctor Who, not only are David Tennant and Catherine Tate coming back for next years 60th Anniversary (as they were about to do location filming it was probably better to announce it), but up and coming trans actress Yasmin Finney (currently being seen in Heartstopper on Netflix) has been cast as... Rose? (No surname has been confirmed, so who knows what that means? (See what I did there? "WHO knows"!! Get it? I'll bet no one has ever made THAT joke before! :) )
