In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like.
Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat amongst yourselves.
2016 claims another fine actor and comedian with the loss of Gene Wilder, known to generations as Willy Wonka, the Waco Kid (in "Blazing Saddles") and (my personal favourite) Frederick Frankenstein in the sublime "Young Frankenstein".
Apple is facing humungous (as in BILLIONS of Euros) tax bill following EU ruling over illegal Republic of Ireland tax deal
Slightly ON topic, but never mind, Jack Kirby's 99th birthday was celebrated by creators across social media... his 100th is going to be fairly spectacular I suspect.
The new TV drama "Victoria" managed the Doctor Who trifecta, by having actors from each franchise of the show appear amongst the first half dozen characters to be seen; Tommy Knight (Luke in "The Sarah Jane Adventures"), Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper in "Torchwood") and of course Jenna Louise Coleman (Clara in "Doctor Who" itself) is playing Queen Victoria.
Oh, and in potentially world-altering news, SETI are reporting their investigation into what might be an extraterrestrial signal from deep space (Though it might not be THAT big a deal according to other researchers :( )
