Hey y'all, long time no see -- too busy making stuff and selling stuff to read stuff. This DC relaunch seems to be pretty good for the independents too -- anything that gets more people into stores helps!

This is the new comic that I did with Gewel Kafka. I'm pretty curious to hear what s_d thinks about it, especially since it was so much inspired by conversations on the old s_d lj about HPL.

So if you ever wanted to see Busta Rhymes punch H. P. Lovecraft in the face, here is your chance.

Busta/Lovecraft, by Geoff Sebesta and Gewel Kafka, 28 pages black and white, published freely on the web. Warning: we deal pretty squarely with issues of racism and homophobia and the n-word gets thrown around quite a bit.

ROM SPACEKNIGHT the comic lasted from 1979 to 1986. The toy lasted from 1979 to 1980-ish. I'm not sure when, exactly, it stopped being produced. The point is, the comic outlasted the toy by a big margin. When the series entered its second year, it was decided that a second feature, about the Spaceknights themselves, would also be appearing in the title. Since the back-up feature was only 5 pages, I . . . won't be showing them in this series, maybe a page here or there. However, the increased pagecount per issue meant that when the Spaceknights back-up wouldn't appear, there would be additional story pages used by the main story! Yay! Granted, this would bring the page count up to 22, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
18 pages out of 56 plus 3 covers out of 3 behind the cut )
Aaron "The Mad Whitaker" Bourque; oh, that Spaceknight Starshine? Her introduction is one of the most important things in the entire series! Regulated to a back-up story! A five page back-up! That I can't even post! Reurgh.

Greetings True Believers!

Well, what do you think of that?

Edit: I got to thinking and here is a question for my fellow S_Ders.

Think of a comic book character that has NOT been portrayed on the big screen and tell us which actor/actress/CGI robot should play them.

I get us started. He may have aged out of the role but Neil Patrick Harris as Speedball!

It's late at night for me and most people, and none of the new shows on US TV amuse me. As I was surfing for entertainment I found this classic gem.

It's so hard to make comedy look so easy sometimes.

Have a laugh, carry on.
