Coolest Team-Up Ever?
Feb. 19th, 2010 01:24 pmprotogarrettBut does anyone know what this is from? I just came across it trying to find more information or scans of this intriguing X-Statix character. Plus, it's nice to see Wanda when she wasn't so darned crazy with the whole killing Avengers, boning Clint, and wiping out most of the mutant population (not to say I didn't like any of that, I did). Seems though she might be coming back soon as a Secret Avenger, so here's hoping.

Robin and Nightwing, traveling by train

So Tim stops by the 'haven for a little bonding/training/risking our lives unnecessarily time with Dick. They catch a ride on top of a moving train, while blindfolded, like just for funsies, and decide it's the best place to discuss some of the stickier situations they've found themselves in, personally speaking.
( Real men talk about their feelings. They just don't look at each other while they do it. )

Feb. 19th, 2010 09:45 pmarbre_rieurI was initially pretty happy to learn that the talented Brian Stelfreeze (of Wednesday Comics' Catwoman and the Demon) would be drawing this issue, #6, of The Authority: The Lost Year. Unfortunately, it turned out that he was only doing layouts (or less. The credits list him as "storyteller," whatever that means.) The finishing artist is...not nearly as good.
( Ah well, at least there's a decent story buried underneath. )
